The Copper Penny Players come from all
walks of life. They range in age from 18 to 80
and may travel from as far away as Princeton
and Philadelphia to be together.
What they all have in common is a desire to
sing and have a good time, regardless of musical
experience. The Copper Penny Players have

A native of Albuquerque, Fred studied piano as a boy with Ralph Berkowitz,
former dean of Tanglewood and accompanist for 20 years to the great cellist
Piatagorsky. In New York, he studied acting for two years with stage and film
legend Geraldine Page and vocal performance with Tony award winner Helen Gallagher.
